SERJobs Intake Process:
Complete Interest Form (submit an application using the button above)
Schedule Orientation - use the Calendly link provided at the bottom of the Interest Form to book an Orientation session.
Attend Orientation & Assessment - participate in an Orientation to learn about SERJobs programs, training opportunities, and eligibility requirements. Then complete a Pre-Employment Assessment, which includes:
Self-eligibility checklist
Basic math, reading, and writing assessment
Navigation & Enrollment - candidates who pass the assessment will move into Navigation, where our team will:
Collect required documents (I9 documents, SERJobs Acknowledgement forms)
Complete Grant Eligibility check across all programs at SER (for co-enrollment purposes)
Assign a Career Coach
Complete drug + background screening
Begin the training and employment pathway
SERJobs’ Success Story - Raul
In 1982, Raul took a bold step into the world of technology by enrolling in the SER Business Training Center, at a time when computers were a rarity in homes and digital skills were intimidating. What followed was a remarkable 40+ year career in IT that began with a role at NASA and concluded with his retirement from ExxonMobil in 2021.
Raul's story is one of grit, perseverance, and unwavering dedication. Despite the odds, he built his career from the ground up, proving that with the right training, support, and determination, anything is possible.
