What is SERJobs Giving Day?

Join us as we commemorate SERJobs Day, proclaimed on September 18, 2018! We’re celebrating with a Loteria Night leading up to the day that highlight SERJobs’ rich history and place in Houston’s Latino culture.

SERJobs, founded in 1965 and located in Houston’s East End, transforms the lives of individuals through education, skill based training, employment, and long term financial stability. With over 56 years of experience as an innovative leader in workforce development, we know this work is not possible without the support of the community.

Friday, September 16, 5pm-8pm

Grab a friend and try your luck at a night of loteria! This traditional Mexican card game is similar to bingo – but with bright illustrations instead of numbers.

The loteria set we will be playing with is 100% custom, with art highlighting the contributions of Houston’s East End, Texas’s Latino culture, and SERJobs programs!

  • Tacos and agua frescas will be available for purchase.
  • Shop artisan goods from local vendors.
  • Snap pics in our loteria-themed photobooth.
  • For a donation, take home your own copy of this beautiful, one-of-a-kind loteria set saluting our beloved #HustleTown!

Please note: You will be able to choose your specific card(s) when you arrive!

We’re sold out of event packages!

A limited number of cards will be available for purchase on-site at the event, first come, first served.
