Nekia Robinson

External Initiatives Director

Nekia Robinson is a diversely skilled nonprofit leader specializing in strategic planning, relationship building, and organizational advancement. Nekia has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management and a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership, with experience in grant writing and research, finance and budgeting, compliance, and more. As a former educator, Nekia facilitates dynamic professional development training to help individuals grow and tap into their why. Currently, Nekia is serving as the External Initiatives Director at SERJobs. In her role at SERJobs, Nekia provides high-level administrative support, board management, volunteer and alumni association program management, engages stakeholders, and provides leadership on external initiatives aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. In Fall 2022, Nekia was selected to participate in the Excellence for Nonprofit Leadership Program with The George Foundation. Most recently, Nekia was selected to participate in the 2023 Inaugural AFP Global Leadership Institute, representing the Houston Area and SERJobs.
