What is SERJobs Giving Day?

Join us as we commemorate SERJobs Day, proclaimed on September 18, 2018! We’re celebrating with a Loteria Night leading up to the day that highlight SERJobs’ rich history and place in Houston’s Latino culture.

SERJobs, founded in 1965 and located in Houston’s East End, transforms the lives of individuals through education, skill based training, employment, and long term financial stability. With over 58 years of experience as an innovative leader in workforce development, we know this work is not possible without the support of the community.

Today is the day! On this day in 2018, September 18 was proclaimed SERJobs Day in Houston, Texas and Harris County by Mayor Sylvester Turner. This recognition was given on the occasion of the ribbon cutting for SERJobs’ Workforce Opportunity Center, located at 1710 Telephone Road.

Celebrate over 58 years of powering workforce development for Houston and the Texas Gulf Coast by giving the gift of economic opportunity. Donations of any size go empowering Texans on their path toward building opportunity and can be placed via your smartphone, tablet or desktop computer.
