What is SERJobs Giving Day?

Join us as we commemorate SERJobs Day, proclaimed on September 18, 2018! We’re celebrating with a Loteria Night leading up to the day that highlight SERJobs’ rich history and place in Houston’s Latino culture.

SERJobs, founded in 1965 and located in Houston’s East End, transforms the lives of individuals through education, skill based training, employment, and long term financial stability. With over 58 years of experience as an innovative leader in workforce development, we know this work is not possible without the support of the community.

On this day in 2018, September 18 was proclaimed SERJobs Day in Houston, Texas and Harris County by Mayor Sylvester Turner. This recognition was given on the occasion of the ribbon cutting for SERJobs’ Workforce Opportunity Center, located at 1710 Telephone Road.
