About the SERJobs Young Professionals Board (YPB)
Are you a young professional in Houston looking to make a difference in your community? Join the SERJobs Young Professionals Board (YPB)!
The SERJobs YPB was formed to advance SERJob’s mission through promoting interest and generating support among Houston’s young professionals, emerging patrons and future workforce development leaders.
Through volunteerism and special events, the SERJobs YPB aims to build networks and awareness, increase the organization’s volunteer network, engage SERJobs alumni, and support fundraising activities.
MEMBER BENEFITS
Individuals interested in serving on the SERJobs YPB are invited to apply using the form below. YPB members will engage in the following areas during each fiscal year (September – August):
- Access to SERJobs organizational activities and events including fundraising events
- Access to Community and Employer Partners to promote networking
- Access to SERJobs Sub-Committees to advise program offerings, understand non-profit finance, fundraise, and increase awareness
- Develop Leadership Skills — Recruit and interact with a group of diverse, motivated, impact-driven young professionals
- Volunteering Opportunities – Share your time, talent and resources to make a difference in our community
