Today, Bennie is the Vice President for Student Success at Lone Star College in Houston, Texas, where he has served in numerous leadership roles within the 90,000-student community college system for several years. Bennie is a long-standing supporter and member of The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Baylor Alumni Association, Special Olympics, and numerous community, state, and national organizations.
